Mission Statement

The Office of Catholic Schools is established to strengthen the educational ministry of the parishes of the Diocese of Peoria in pastoral support of families in meeting their responsibilities as the primary educators of their children.

Faithful to the mission of the Church and to the interpretation of that mission expressed through the vision of the Bishop of the Diocese and in cooperation with the Curia, the Office of Catholic Schools, working in collaboration with the other offices of the Diocesan Curia under the direction of the Moderator of the Curia, assists the parishes and the schools in the education of the students of the schools of the diocese to live more fully in relationship with God and with others.

The Office of Catholic Schools provides services to the parishes and the schools in the development of strong academic programs within the environment of a belief-driven Catholic community which generates leadership, reverence and service.
